Romance Book Club – first meeting

My romance book club has started and our first catch up was a huge success. Not only had everyone read the book but we all loved it.

I have to confess it was a little scary selecting a book for the group. What if they didn’t like it? What if I didn’t like it? Silly really. I’d chosen a wonderful book, Julie Cohen’s The Summer of Living Dangerously. Julie also dropped by on Facebook to say hi – thanks Julie πŸ™‚

So the next in turn chose their book – A Very Accidental Love Story by Claudia CarrolΒ – and with a click of a button it was on my kindle πŸ™‚ With such a gorgeous cover and blurb, I knew I was going to like it and I wasn’t disappointed.

What’s great about book club is not only the social aspect but also having the opportunity to read books I may not have known/seen or thought about reading. The best bit – it’s a romance book club so I know all the books will be romantic or have romance themes – perfect don’t you think? πŸ™‚
