My gorgeous CP and friend Rachael Johns has tagged me in the “The Lucky Seven” blog challenge.

The challenge. Post seven lines from an unpublished work of fiction. I’ve chosen to post from my current mss.

From page 7 -

“And you?” She swallowed some of the enthusiasm into her voice. Not wanting to appear too eager.

“I came here for work but am on a forced holiday break with my sister. She believes working too hard is not good for one’s soul.” His stance was relaxed, with his arms loosely hanging by his side as his smile grew wide with the mention of his sister.

Cute. Tick.

Family guy. Tick.

If he was single she’d give him a third tick and hit the trifecta.
